Green Hydrogen produced on site : the first recharge station launched
The hydrogen recharge station for the FaHyence project was officially launched in the presence of Mr Roland Roth, President of the Communauté d’Agglomération Sarreguemines Confluences (CASC) and Didier Vaucois, EDF Regional Delegate for the Grand Est region, as well as project partners and users of hydrogen vehicles. It was the first recharge station for vehicles in France that is capable of on-site and on-demand production of hydrogen using renewable energy. Symbio equipped 100 Kango H2 vehicles designed for use by a range of different public and private users. FaHyence is part of the wider H2ME European project, funded by the European programme FCH JU, which aims to deploy 29 hydrogen service stations and more than 300 vehicles by 2020.
