Symbio Fits Out the PSA Group’s First Hydrogen Utility Vehicles
When the French government announced its new hydrogen strategy on 8 September, the PSA Group, the leading utility vehicle manufacturer in Europe, took the opportunity to remind people of the launch of its fleet of hydrogen trade vehicles in 2021. This is the first phase in a broader zero-emissions policy. Symbio – a subsidiary of the Faurecia and Michelin groups – is demonstrating its capacity to adapt its standard hydrogen systems (StackPacks®) to its clients’ specific requirements by fitting out the first hundred vehicles in the fleet. The company has also secured its position as the forerunner in hydrogen cell systems for light commercial vehicles in Europe, which is the biggest market for hydrogen transport.
