A world leader in tyres, Michelin continue to innovate to promote the transport of today and to invent the transport of tomorrow.

 

As far as Michelin is concerned, hydrogen ticks all of the boxes with regards to sustainable transport (impact on CO2 emissions, air quality, energy transition), while tackling all of these uses. The Group has been working in this field for more than 15 years. He became a shareholder in Symbio in 2014 and acquired the entire share capital of the company in 2019. Michelin is also involved in the “Zero Emission Valley” project in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region (20 hydrogen stations and 1,000 vehicles by 2020).

 

On top of that, Michelin is a member of the Fuel Cell Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCHJU) at a European Level, a member of the French Association for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (AFHYPAC), a member of the National Association for the Development of Electric Transport (AVERE) and a member of the Tenerrdis hub.
