Please read these Terms of Use carefully before accessing the Symbio website.
1. Website Information
The website www.symbio.one (the “Site”) is the exclusive property of Symbio SAS (hereinafter “Symbio”), registered with the Lyon Trade and Companies Register under number SIREN 521 148 890, with its registered office located at SYMPHONHY, 10 rue Specia, 69190 Saint-Fons, France.
The website www.symbio.one is hosted by Cognix Systems via the OVH platform. Emails are routed through the company Brevo, whose servers are hosted within Europe in compliance with the GDPR.

2. Scope of Application
The following terms of use (the “Terms of Use”) apply to any internet user visiting the Site (the “User”).
2.1. Access to the Site
Symbio uses its best efforts to keep the Site accessible, without being subject to any obligation to do so. It is specified that, for maintenance, updates, or any other reason, including technical, legal, or security reasons, access to all or part of the Site and/or its content may be adjusted, interrupted, or even removed. Symbio shall in no event be held liable for such temporary or permanent interruptions and for any consequences that may result therefrom for you. You undertake not to access or use the Site fraudulently, in particular any interactive services, where such services exist.
2.2. Access and Use
The Site is accessible to any user. Symbio reserves the right to modify, correct, interrupt and/or remove all or part of the content and/or the Site at any time, without prior notice. Subject to the limitations set out below, Symbio grants you the right to download, print, and use Symbio content (i) where a download functionality exists, (ii) for personal and non-commercial purposes, (iii) in good faith, and (iv) provided that all proprietary notices as well as the publication date appearing on such content, if any, are kept intact. This right shall under no circumstances be construed as granting any license, in particular in respect of trademarks or logos.
2.3. Restrictions on Use
Except with the prior express authorization of Symbio, all reproductions, representations, and uses other than those referred to above are prohibited, including in particular:
- Any adaptation, making available to the public whether on demand or not, distribution, redistribution in any form whatsoever, networking, public communication of all or part of the Site, works, services, trademarks, and all elements protected or capable of protection under intellectual property law reproduced on the Site;
- Any extraction and/or reuse, including for private purposes, of a qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the contents of the databases constituted by or accessible through the Site;
- Any repeated and/or systematic extraction and/or reuse, including for private purposes, of even a non-substantial part of the contents of the databases constituted by or accessible through the Site;
- Any linking, access, modification, addition, or deletion affecting the automated processing system of the online publication that alters the publishing conditions or editorial policy.
The following are notably prohibited:
- Fraudulent access to or remaining within an automated data processing system;
- Fraudulent deletion, modification, or addition of data in such system;
- Any act that obstructs or disrupts such system.
Any User acting in breach of this legal notice may be subject to civil or criminal proceedings, in particular for infringement of copyright, related rights, database producers’ rights, and/or automated data processing systems.
3. Warranties and Liability
The information provided on the Site is for informational purposes only. Although Symbio endeavors to verify the accuracy of the information and keep the Site up to date, Symbio does not guarantee the accuracy, precision, timeliness, or completeness of the information made available on the Site. Accordingly, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, Symbio disclaims all liability for any damage resulting in particular from inaccuracies or omissions in the information available on the Site or for any harm resulting from fraudulent intrusion by a third party into the Site with the intent to harm the interests or reputation of the Symbio Group, notably by distorting the information listed on the Site.
Any liability of Symbio or its Affiliates (defined as companies controlled by, or under common control with, Symbio) for any damage or virus that may damage or render unusable the User’s computer equipment following access to the Site, despite the security measures implemented, is excluded.
4. Hyperlinks
In order to facilitate access to other websites that may provide additional information, Symbio has included a number of hyperlinks on the Site. However, Symbio and/or its Affiliates cannot be held liable for any third-party website accessed via the Site that contains unlawful or inaccurate content. Neither Symbio nor its Affiliates have any means of controlling the content of third-party websites.
Furthermore, external websites may contain hyperlinks directing to the Site. Neither Symbio nor its Affiliates have the legal means to oppose this common practice on the Internet and shall in no event be held liable for content originating from external websites.
5. Intellectual Property
All images, trademarks, logos, domain names, and information in the form of text or images featured on the Site are the property of Symbio and/or its Affiliates, or are used under authorization as described in the Photo Credits section of Article 1.
Any use by means of reproduction, modification, downloading, transmission, or any other existing or future process is subject to prior written authorization (letter, email, or fax).
Only copies for private and non-commercial use are permitted, subject to the intellectual property rights referenced. The reuse of articles or reports featured on any of our websites is also subject to authorization and must include the notice “©Symbio SAS” or as otherwise indicated in the source rights. Any infringement may result in legal proceedings.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
The Site and its content are created in accordance with the laws applicable in France, even if they are accessible to users both French-speaking and non-French-speaking. In the event of any discrepancy between the information presented in the French version of the Site and that presented in translated versions, the French version shall prevail. Subject to applicable mandatory local provisions, any dispute relating to the use of the Site shall be governed by French law. The User agrees to seek an amicable resolution with the Site owner prior to initiating any legal proceedings.
7. Cookies
For statistical and display purposes, this Site uses cookies. These are small text files stored on your hard drive in order to record technical data relating to your browsing. Certain parts of this Site may not function properly without the acceptance of cookies.
