SYMBIO, the leader in zero-emission hydrogen mobility and a major technological and industrial partner to the pioneers of sustainable mobility, is joining forces with PULSALYS, the Lyon and Saint-Etienne DeepTech innovation incubator and accelerator, to speed up the creation of innovative hydrogen start-ups.

The goals are to accelerate the creation of hydrogen start-ups from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes universities', to support sectoral start-ups during their incubation phase and help them get in touch quicly with public and private laboratories, in order to speed up their development, and to support the emergence of a robust hydrogen ecosystem in the region, thanks to the combined support of the PULSALYS incubator and SYMBIO, a leading manufacturer in the field.

SYMBIO, a leader in zero-emission hydrogen mobility, and PULSALYS, the Société d'Accélération du Transfert de Technologies de Lyon et Saint-Etienne (SATT), announced on November 10, 2023 the signature of a framework agreement to seal a new partnership.

A new collaboration, rooted in the Hydrogen Valley in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region

This agreement between these two strategic players in innovation, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, is in line with the objective of accelerating the development of the hydrogen sector.

The signing of this agreement will enable SYMBIO to put its expertise in hydrogen-related technologies at the service of selected start-ups, either in the process of being created or incubated at PULSALYS, including privileged access to SYMBIO's laboratories and equipment and/or mentoring. PULSALYS, in turn, will provide SYMBIO with its expertise in identifying opportunities for the creation and networking of start-ups from public research laboratories in the field, and in the incubation phase for start-ups whose market is in the hydrogen sector.

Symbio is committed to the solid development of the hydrogen industry. We have been contributing to incubation projects for several years now. This partnership with PULSALYS is a way of strengthening our action by putting our technological and industrial expertise at the service of promising breakthrough projects. In this regard, we're helping to consolidate our ecosystem and make zero-emission hydrogen mobility a reality!
Philippe Rosier, SYMBIO CEO
I'm delighted with this agreement with SYMBIO, a major player in hydrogen and innovation in the field, especially as the company is based locally and contributes to the region's national and international reputation. This structuring partnership for a sector of the future will be beneficial for both our organizations through the actions mentioned and, more broadly, for all the start-ups in the hydrogen sector, which is a priority for the Region and for the State, particularly through the France 2030 plan.
