The Symbio Hydrogen Academy, creator of hydrogen excellence
By 2030, the hydrogen industry will represent 100,000 jobs. The success of hydrogen as a solution for accelerating zero-emission mobility will therefore depend on the sharing of hydrogen-specific knowledge that is not yet fully integrated into academic curricula. With the Symbio Hydrogen Academy, we are committed to developing the skills needed for its emergence, both in our own employees and in the industry as a whole.
Supporting skill-building in the hydrogen industry
The Symbio Hydrogen Academy was created in 2021 with the aim of training our partners and all those interested in fuel cell technology and the challenges of hydrogen. Its mission is to transmit and disseminate knowledge and skills specific to hydrogen.
In particular, we welcome young people, especially employees from the automotive and chemical industries working for our customers and partners, who want to learn about the new jobs in the hydrogen industry. In addition, in collaboration with the Pacte de retour à l'emploi (PRE) initiative designed to get unemployed people back into work, we provide training for jobseekers, helping them to reintegrate the job market. Profiles range from operators to engineers and researchers.
We co-develop our training programs with French schools and universities, promoting a “learning by doing”, hands-on approach that complements the world of teaching, and are internationalizing the concept, starting with Germany with three partners, Switzerland and the United States, also with three partners.
